One of my first Fluid-Dynamic Simulations. A small-scale render of my Nuclear Explosion Simulation built with Autodesk Maya's Built-in Gas-Liquid Fluid Effects. I dont have enough computing power/time for a high definition render of the explosion. Please feel free to visit my video on yourtube where you can slow down fluid effects in action. As I only had the time to render 80 frames at standard definition. If this were a studio project where I had access to a rendering farm, the result would turn out much more impressive.
I've included a few higher definition stills, to showcase the color and shape of the explosion closer to the final rendered result. I'll be renting a render system for a day in a few weeks to render this out to 1024x1024 to use as an asset for my current game project.
